💡 Choice Filling Strategic Advice
- Order matters: MCC checks your preference list strictly top-down. Place your highly preferred dream colleges first—lower choices won't block you from lower options if you qualify.
- Don't leave gaps: Fill as many choices as you're genuinely comfortable reporting. Adding more safe options significantly raises your chance of securing an allotment.
- Lock before deadline: Unlocked preference choices are NOT taken into account during final allotments on the official portal.
- Auto-saving list: Your curated choice list automatically saves locally in this browser. However, we highly recommend exporting a CSV/Text backup before locking.
