The ExamPath Manifesto

Democratizing Exam Counselling

A free, independent, and privacy-first data utility for every Indian family.

🩺 The Problem: Predatory Information Gaps

Lakhs of Indian students qualify for competitive exams like NEET. After years of hard work, they enter the most critical phase: counselling and choice filling.

Counselling schedules, seat matrices, and cutoff ranks are buried inside hundreds of pages of official government PDFs. This complexity has bred a predatory ecosystem of "counselling consultants" charging families anywhere from ₹15,000 to ₹1,00,000 simply to search public data, often steering students toward high-fee colleges for commission payouts.

❤️ Behind the Project: Our Origin Story

In 2026, the founder of ExamPath navigated the official NEET UG All India and State quota counselling process for their child, Samra Inayat. They experienced firsthand the profound anxiety and informational challenges that families face.

Frustrated by disorganized government PDFs and websites locking historical data behind commercial paywalls, the founder built custom Python scripts to extract official seat distributions and closing ranks directly from MCC publications. That automated pipeline is what powers ExamPath today—making complex admission data completely free and open.

🛡️ Our Values: Zero Cost, Zero Tracking, Zero Commission

Information that determines a student's career should never be gated behind a paywall. ExamPath enforces strict principles to guarantee absolute parity:

🛡️ 100% Free Access

All our interactive search engines, seat matrix explorers, and choice builders are entirely free. No registration, no premium upgrades, no gated features.

🔒 Absolute Privacy

We have a strict zero-tracking policy. No analytics cookies, no personal database logs, and no phone log-ins. We never sell your data to coaching portals.

📊 Data Provenance

Every record is parsed programmatically from official public publications. We show exact source links for total verifiability.

📋 Editorial Standards & Methodology

Our entire value is data we did not invent, so how it is sourced, how often it is refreshed and how mistakes are handled are published here rather than implied.

📊 Sourcing

Every figure is parsed from an official publication — MCC's All India counselling bulletins, seat matrices, allotment and vacancy results, or the state authority's own list (e.g. KNRUHS, DMER, DME). Nothing is estimated, modelled or supplied by a coaching partner, and each page links the exact document it was built from.

🗄️ Permanent documents

Official PDFs are archived on this site (/downloads) rather than linked to boards that delete them each season, so a claim made here stays checkable years later.

🔄 Freshness

During a counselling season each published round is structured and published within about 24 hours; every page names the round it reflects, so a stale page is visible rather than disguised. Nothing is shown for a round we do not hold — we publish a "not released yet" state instead of a blank or a zero.

✏️ Corrections

If you find a figure that disagrees with the official document, write to contact@exampath.in with the link. We correct the dataset and regenerate the affected pages; a page whose URL changes is redirected, never left to rot.

🤝 Disclosure

We take no commission from any college, agent or consultancy, accept no paid placement, and sell no ranking or referral position. Filters, sorts and predictions are deterministic calculations over the published data — and your rank is never stored on a server, because there isn't one.

📚 What a page is not

Closing ranks are historical evidence, not a guarantee: they move with seat counts, quotas and the applicant pool. The official brochure and information bulletin always overrule anything you read here.
